Just another great weekend!

I really don’t like the “Keep Calm” thing but I just thought this was appropriate lol

Well first I just want to start out by saying Hell freaking YES! It’s March so that means it’s almost SPRING TIME!! I seriously hate the cold more than anything so I literally could not be more stoked about this!

Friday night was so much fun! I went to an ice hockey game (my second one ever!) and finally saw a fight! There were like 3 fights in like a 30 minute time span haha it was great! But…. then I saw someone puking in his seat because he was too drunk… It wasn’t even half time… It was pretty freaking gross and for those of you who don’t know me, I am petrified of throw up so I was pretty shocked that I didn’t puke! Other than that it was a great night! I got to hangout with some of my favorite people, aka the Hines family.

Saturday I just babysat all day but had a super awesome workout at the gym with Michelle! We were so dead afterwards but I literally love that feeling because I know I am pushing my body and the right direction! It also felt so good knowing that I was in the gym on a Saturday night and just went home, ate healthy, didn’t have any wine lol, and actually made it to bed early!

Church on Sunday was so awesome! One of our pastors, Daniel Hines, preached a sick word about how perception is everything and if you perceive something in a positive light as opposed to a negative light, your life and relationships will be so much better! My church is called 757 Life Church and it’s a nondenominational church in Virginia Beach if you guys ever want to check it out! It’s so much fun and Cameron’s dad is actually the lead pastor!

I also made this super awesome dinner last night, Quinoa Mac N Cheese!!! I added two shredded chicken breasts that I cooked in buffalo sauce and it was seriously amazing! I took a picture but it didn’t look that appetizing haha so you will just have to make it to see for yourself! I wouldn’t necessarily say it tasted like mac n cheese, i thinking it needed more cheese, but it was still so good! And it made so much! Michelle and I both had it for dinner, we’re both having it for lunch, and honestly my other roommate, Carley, and I are going to have it for dinner tonight! One, it’s that good, and two, I just don’t want to waste it because quinoa is expensive haha. Let me know if you guys try it and how you like it!

Today’s workout was intense but boy did it feel good! I woke up for the 6:15 spin class and it kicked my butt! Afterwards I began my Fit Affinity workout scheduled for today and it was AWESOME! I love that I am feeling stronger and healthier everyday and it just gets my morning/ the rest of my day started off great! Once I got home I made a super yummy omelette that you can see in my instagram.. because I was THAT proud of how perfect it looked haha.. Usually when I make them they get all screwed up and rip but today’s was like it came out of a freaking magazine! I usually eat some sort of variation of eggs after my morning workout along with my protein and greens smoothie. It’s great because I am full for about 3 hours, and that’s a really long time for me because I love to eat lol!



well it snowed again unfortunately…. I just want warm weather! Ugh is that too much to ask!? But last night was fun. My roomies and our boys made the best of it and had a little fun at the house. Of course I lost beeping everytime…. But hey I just really suck at that game haha. Anyways today is a great day for Netflix so thankfully the baby is sleeping! Oh yeah I guess I should tell you guys I’m a full time nanny for a 2 month old baby boy named Jasper. He’s the cutest thing ever! Anyways… I’m watching this series called Hart of Dixie and it’s really good you guys should watch it!! But after laying around all day I’m definitely going to need to go to the gym afterwards 💪 I can’t wait to see what today’s workout is!

What a wonderful weekend I had! Friday night was so much fun going out with Cameron, Michelle, and her boyfriend, Taylor. We went to a few different places and just had a blast hanging out together. Butttt… I definitely wish Michelle and I could have danced more because there is nothing we love to do more!

Saturday Cameron and I payed our deposit for the wedding cake YAY!! We decided to do cupcakes instead of one giant cake so it is just gunna look soon cute! I can’t wait to see it (: We went to  Carolina Cupcakery and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The girls there were just so amazing and had so much passion for what they are doing. We also started looking at ideas for invitations! EEEKK! I can’t believe the wedding is in just 6 months! It is going to go by so fast omg!

Church on Sunday was amazing, I wish I didn’t have to do nursery this week haha. Don’t get me wrong I love the babies and all but I just love being in the service!

I guess I should warn you that you will come to realize really soon (if you haven’t already) that I tend to jump from subject to subject… I’m not really a “one topic” kinda girl… But hey, it keeps things interesting!

Oh and YAY! I finally got to lift upper body again yesterday! It was my first time in a week and it felt amazing! I definitely didn’t expect to feel that good after just one week of resting my shoulder but that’s all I needed! And I was surprised but so happy to see that I didn’t have to go down in weights! WOOPWOOP! I also took a transformation picture that you can see in my latest instagram post! The Fit Affinity program is seriously amazing and I am only on week 7! I still have a long ways to go because I bought the 12 week lower body guide and the expansion pack for weeks 13-24! I’m seriously so stoked to see my end results though!

Poor Me

Ugh! So on Sunday I hurt my shoulder pretty bad at the gym, so I haven’t really been able to work out as hard as normal. But that’s not going to stop me! Although I wasn’t able to do much upper body, I still made it a point to workout everything else. On Monday I did cardio but had to cut it short to go pick up my fiancé…. but it was an excuse to see him more this week so i don’t mind (: (6 months until were married and living together!!!) anyways on Tuesday despite the snow storm I made it to the gym and was able to do a pretty decent leg workout (praise the jesus), Wednesday I went to the gym with my best friend, Michelle (FYI: y’all will hear a lot about her in future posts!), and we did a pretty awesome HIIT Workout that I put together. Yesterday I didn’t really have time to go to the gym before or after work so I did a 25 minute Pilates workout that i found on youtube! It was actually really great and it helped stretch out my shoulder! woohoo! And once again today I didn’t have time for the gym before work so I did another quick 25 minute full body workout that was great! Thankfully tomorrow I will have time to go to the gym and I can finally lift again YAY!!
